Hotel Altstadt is within walking distance of Zurich's most important sights. Set in the historic old town, the walls of this elegantly designed hotel also tell very special stories.
Enjoying a central position in Zürich's Old Town, between the Grossmünster Church and the Limmat River, the Altstadt Hotel offers rooms decorated by a local artist. The property was renovated in 2010.

The bar of the Altstadt hotel is appreciated for its aromatic coffee, good wines and ambient jazz music. Lake Zürich is only 200 meters from the Hotel Altstadt.
For each of the 25 rooms, artist HC Jenssen created images depicting the handwritten texts of famous poets. This gives each room a unique character, both visually and thematically, thanks to its individual image composition. As the collected works are also available in each room, the whole world of the author can be explored even further.
Rooms facilities: The modern, cozy rooms feature free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. They also have minibars, and tea and coffeemakers, along with sitting areas and hardwood floors. An attic room adds a private roof terrace. Some rooms provide air-conditioning.

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs CHF 36 per day.
