A comfortable, family-run hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. The hotel consists of the main house (= traditional house) and (completely renovated in 2001) annexe in chalet style. Both houses are connected by a corridor. Kandersteg is located between 1,200 - 2,700 m - an idyllic village with breathtaking mountain scenery and excellent hiking trails for all levels. Kandersteg is an ideal starting point for trips with the train, for example, the Glacier Express (Brig - Chur) Golden Pass (Spiez - Montreux) or the panoramic mountain railway track Lötschberg.

Catering at extra charge
New Year's Eve Dinner: on request and to be paid locally, CHF 50,-, - per person (+ 16 years), Children with main course and dessert no surcharge, .

Winter tip
Kandersteg is a paradise for cross-. Directly behind the hotel is the cross-country paradise with 57 km groomed trails starts from 1200 to 2000 meters (classic and 53 km of which additionally prepared for skating). In addition, you will find 55 km of cleared winter hiking trails and snowshoe trail at Sunnbüel. The Oeschinen resort is ideal for families (about 1 km from the hotel) and provides a well-run children's ski school with baby lift. From the top station Oeschinen a toboggan run leads to the village. In about 30 minutes you reach the Lauchernalp with slopes up to 3110 meters. Ideal place to relax and feel!
