This luxurious 5-star hotel, originally created in the 1870s by Caesar Ritz and August Escoffier, combines tradition with modern comfort. Situated on the lakeside promenade, it offers a beautiful view of the Alps with the famous peaks of Pilatus, Rigi and Stanserhorn. The old town, all important sights, shopping area, Culture and Convention Centre (KKL) and the railway station are within easy access either on foot or by excellent public transport links nearby. Rooms are individually designed in the original Empire-Style with great attention to detail. They are come well-equipped with the latest amenities and offer beautiful city views. Enjoy the fine food creations in the elegant ambience of the gourmet restaurant "Trianon" with 14 Gault Millau Points and a terrace which is open during summer and overlooking the lakeside. Italian specialties await guests in "Il Padrino" restaurant. Uncomplicated food is served in the "1871" and in the "Thai Lotus" the Thai cuisine is celebrated. At the fashionable "National" bar, classic cocktails are served accompanied with live piano music during winter. Guests can relax at the hotel's indoor swimming pool and sauna.
