The worldfamous, car free resort of Zermatt, is located in the Mattertal at the foot of the Matterhorn and surrounded by 38 forthousend meter peaks in the heart of the Alps of the Valais in Switzerland. It is situated in a quiet location only 300 m from the famous Matterhornbahn Paradise cableway, which also takes to the Riffelberg in winter, to the Theodul Glacier for Summerski and to stunning Schwarzsee Paradise. The village centre where you find shopping facilities, sports equipment shops and equipment location (Ski, Bike, Climb etc.), as well as the local elecric bus station are at some 200 m. The train station, as well as all major attractions like Matterhorn Museum, Cog Railway to Gornergrat lookout point, underground funicular to Sunnegga with its marmot (woodchucks) observation post and crystal-clear Leisee lake and departure point for Rothorn paradise at around 900 m.
Guests can enjoy the cosy, intimate atmosphere at this family-friendly hotel, which offers modern facilities including a gourmet restaurant with its sunny terrace offering a stunning view on the Matterhorn a snug lounge, a cosy bar, free WiFi Internet access, an Internet-Terminal, as well as a wellness and relaxation area which includes fitness, quiet room and combined sauna/sanarium.
The non-smoking rooms have an en suite bath or shower/WC with hairdryer, cable TV, radio, wireless LAN, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, minibar and safe. Family rooms is on request and room service from 7 am to 10 pm.
