About Hasliberg - presentation, information, photos and recommendations

Hasliberg - pure sun on great pistes!

The dreamy area of Hasliberg consists of four districts: Wasserwendi, Hohfluh, Goldern and Reuti. It's located behind the Brünig Pass (1,008 m) and at the foot of Planplatten (2,250 m), above its lively neighbour Meiringen. Hasliberg is a much-loved ski resort and is also known as one of the most family-friendly holiday destinations in the Bernese Oberland. At an altitude of almost 1,100 m you can savour the unbelievable panoramic views onto the surrounding mountains including Glogghüs (2,534 m), Hochstollen (2,480 m) and Rothorn (2,525 m).

The districts Reuti and Wasserwendi offer direct access to the ski area with their gondolas. Numerous winter hiking trails connect the individual districts and even lead right down to Meiringen. Far away from all things hectic, Hasliberg is almost in the middle of the ski area and offers a wide range for both young and older winter sports fans!

Ski
With the "Meiringen-Hasliberg" lift pass you have access to an excellent ski area, stretching from 1,080 - 2,433 m. The 60 kilometres of piste are connected by 15 lifts and lined by numerous cosy lodges and mountain restaurants.

You are able to quickly reach the ski area from Hasliberg, either from Wasserwendi to Käserstatt or from Reuti over Bidmi to Mägisalp and Käserstatt! On primarily intermediate pistes, skiers can devote themselves to pure ski enjoyment. Pistes in the upper part of the ski area are especially steep, including the most difficult valley run "North Pole" (1.5 km). The former world cup run from Planplatten awaits with an altitude difference of 1,200 m! The longest run also has the longest name: at 10 km long, the panorama run Glogghüs-Hohsträss-Käserstatt-Balisalp-Hohfluh offers first-rate ski enjoyment.

The Mägisalp with its excellent deep-snow areas and snow park is waiting to be explored! Freeriders will find great conditions at Gummenalp, Hochsträs or Hohbühl/Balisalp. The children's paradise Skihäsliland, with great play area including an igloo village, awaits little winter sports fans.

Guests not wanting to leave the piste at sun-down can continue skiing on the floodlit Mägisalp-Reuti piste.

Hasliberg is the quiet alternative to Meiringen. You won't be bored off-piste, though! Alongside numerous excursions, you can also let yourself be culinarily spoilt by the good simple cuisine in the "Hotel Post" or the "Hotel Viktoria". Furthermore, there are countless winter hiking trails, tobogganing runs and natural ice skating rinks available. You can enjoy floodlit skiing On the floodlight piste "Mägisalp-Reuti" you can enjoy some night skiing until 10 p.m.!

A visit to the Sherlock Holmes Museum in Meiringen could also be exciting. Anyone wanting more action can expect a great atmosphere in the bars, such as the "Hexenkessel" and "Aquarium" in Käserstatt or the local "Mountain-Music-Bar", "Lyons Pub" as well as the "Hasli Lodge" in Meiringen.

A total of 35 km of superbly prepared cross-country trails will make any cross-country skiers heart leap for joy. The mainly intermediate trails lead through idyllic surroundings. The longest trail at 15 km runs from Meiringen at a snow-sure altitude of 1,200 m to Gadmen. A part of which is also floodlit!

An absolute highlight is the high-altitude trail between Bidmi and Lischen, which grants awe-inspiring views at a snow-sure altitude of 1,450 m. Particularly sporty guests can use an additional 30 km of skating track. Use of the track costs approx. €4 per day or approx. €16 per week, including access to the cross-country centre with wc, showers and changing rooms.
